These worked perfectly of deck power for one of my patrons. They sound crisp and clear and really helped her truck get to a more accurate sound then before she loves them. 4 stars because do not amplify them they will not take it at all

would not fit my doors had to make a spacers out of styrofoam and drill 4 new holes. i would expect that if i buy 6.5s they would actually be 6.5 oh well i made it work and they sound better than stock

If you’re looking for an all-around speaker for your car audio, look no further—you’ve found it with the DS18. These speakers are amazing for a well-balanced sound system. I personally love them. I installed them in the soundbar of my 2013 Jeep Wrangler, and they fit perfectly with the bracket. Installation was straightforward, and everything lined up great. They get loud, deliver crisp vocals, and still handle bass really well. If you want something that gives you a full sound (vocals, mids, and some bass), I’d definitely recommend these over bullet speakers. Plus, they’re more affordable and absolutely worth the money. One thing I highly recommend is adding an amplifier. Most factory or standard head units don’t provide enough power to get the full performance out of these speakers. With an amp, they really come alive. Overall, I would definitely buy these again. Highly recommend.

For the price point they sound pretty good. But you will need to run over 50 watts to enjoy. Also recommend a decent head unit to control the cross over. The " built in filters " are not very efficient. Mids are poppy as they should, lows are decent, high need to be fine tuned. But 2way 6.5 for under $50 they are not bad. If you run 50w and below too these and crank the volume, you will blow these. They need over 50w of power for best performance. So had these for about 2 months now. Running about 50w maybe a few less to them. They now sound much better. Every speaker takes a usual 40 hours of play time to break in at normal volume. Pretty crisp, and the lows have became deeper and richer. Cranked them up and still has some distortion, but might need to add another 25 watts to clear it up. 50w min, 75 watts or 100w should be sweet sport for each speaker.

These things scream but ear fatigue do to subpar sound quality is a thing. The marketing is there and are probably suited for your ears but you are not going to get that warm , clear sound that are found in the likes of Polk , JL, NVX etc
