I am located in athensa greece. will i be able to use and unlock the applivation or it works only with us or canada companies or networks ??

So far as you have a connected internet, it’s Gonna work. No matter where you located

Does this work with Echo Plus or does it need a special hub?

It doesn’t need a special hub. You can set it up as a skill with Alexa. There is a passcode you have to set as a security feature. Wouldn’t want anyone saying “Alexa, unlock the door” and your door unlocking. You have to say Alexa unlock the door and then state the passcode.

Is the touch screen the only difference vs the less expensive kwikset 99380-001 halo wi-fi smart lock keyless entry?

You are correct, but the touch screen is described as "more secure". Not sure I agree, but the theory is that keys on the key pad either get dirty or the numbers show wear. Some people think this may be a security flaw as it can reveal the four keys used in your code. Apparently a thief can try different combinations and may crack your code if they can see which four keys show the most wear. The touchscreen has a way to "hide" finger prints so your code stays more secure. Your call if that justifies the higher price or not...
