We purchased this specifically to have more space in guest room while allowing more sleeping space for multiple guests. This was nicer and more sturdy than I expected. There are other brands on other sites that are more expensive for the same thing. It was worth every Penny and looks nice in the room. The only downside is if you sleep on the twin daybed then your pillow will fall off so I purchased a toddler bed rail and used that as extra lip to keep pillow in place. We also store the extra twin mattress in our big storage room attached to guest room to make it easy to pull out any make into king bed.

By far, the absolute worst item I ever picked up from Amazon, and I have made well over 1000 purchases here.Whomever designed this bed probably knows a thing or two about beds, but they decided to ignore that knowledge in order to save a few (or a lot of) bucks in production.Should drawers run on two slides? Of course! Could we save some money by having the drawers run on a single slide at the center, even if that means the drawer will keep coming out of place and the owner won’t be able to close it again? Perhaps, and we could also make the actual drawer much smaller than the outside, so let’s give that a try! Let’s have the drawer look really big on the outside, but actually be very small on the inside! Better yet, let’s make it that if they fill the drawer it won’t close, by having a second bar inside that will be over that mini drawer.A book could be written on everything that is wrong with this bed, but here’s a short list instead:- The wood is extremely low quality and you’ll be able to poke holes here and there WITH YOU FINGERS as you assemble it (but don’t worry, they will have already included some holes on their own).- As you poke holes in the wood, they will definitely stand out, as the cheap paint is very dark, but the wholes will expose a very light wood underneath.- The measurements are off: the extendable part of the bed doesn’t fit under the bed!!! The bed ends up being slightly wider than advertised (this was an issue for us).- The top bar comes with an awful sticker (red letters on white) that doesn’t show on their pictures stating “WARNING: DO NOT HANG ON THIS BAR”. You can’t peel this off properly.- The drawers are minuscule and will keep coming off the single slide they run off. They’ll keep going in at an angle and will get stuck countless times.- The mattress won’t cover the whole bed, as the extendable part doesn’t go all the way in. As a result, your kid will always have a part of the bed with no mattress on at least one of the sides. That is a great way for them to hurt themselves.You can only tell these things once you’ve assembled the bed, and by then it will be far too late to return it, as putting it back in the box would have been an herculean task.When I reached out to the seller with photos I was offered a discount ($80) and not a single answer addressing my questions or complaints. I decided to take that discount and I have regretted it every single day and night ever since.Don’t make the same mistake I did. Don’t buy this thing, and be very wary of this seller.Stay away!As a side note, the bar on top is a really bad idea, because there comes a time where kids will get up quickly or will want to jump on the bed. They will bump their little heads on that bar and will be crying for a while, only to do it again a few weeks later.

We spent a lot of time researching trundle beds and specifically chose this one because it said it had a higher weight limit of 400 lbs. once assembled, the bed has a label clearly saying that it’s a maximum of 200 pounds. We would not have chosen that for a guest bed if we had known. A good thing about the bed is that once it’s assembled it is pretty easy to pull out the trundle section. Unfortunately we are very disappointed with the drawers. Because of the way the holes were pre-drilled, there is no way for us to put the drawers in so they are flush with the side of the bed. They go in at an angle and look very sloppy.Assembly was challenging, but we were prepared for that because of other reviews.

Material is not sturdy. Could not figure out how to get draws to close all the way. All the screw show, no caps to cover them. I purchased for guest room because it said 400 weight maximum . Received said 200 weight. With the draws there is no place for the second mattress, so you need to store it on the bed. Missing parts, emailed and they sent right away. I was very disappointed, I read all the reviews and was excited to get this for my playroom/guest room.

The drawers broke after a month and the material they give just is cheap how it stands is beyond me but had to buy my own supplies just to reinforce the damn thing

Would have liked to be able to contact seller/manufacturer on this item as we cannot get the drawers to close. They are about 3-4 inches which IS a big deal
