Not well presented
I have read both this book and ‘An Infinity of Gods’ by Ray Grasse, and I much prefer the latter. This book provides similar insights into who Shelly Trimmer was, but is so overwrought with poor grammar and punctuation that the reader is often left to surmise what was truly written. I am also fortunate to be the student of a yogi who knew Trimmer personally, so I can verify/or not certain interpretations.

Kriya Yoga's hidden master
I met this great master Shellyji Trimmer back in 1985, and I was awestruck by the weight of his holiness and knowledge. He was the teacher/master of my own teacher/master and I noticed many similarities between the two, anyway I read the book and found it fascinating reading and packed full of knowledge. I rank Shellyji in the same class as the other Kriya masters, though little known, he was a great master!

SHEELY JI
WONDERFUL BOOK IN THE FACT THAT THERE IS NOT MUCH WRITTEN ABOUT SHELLY TRIMMER WHO WAS THE GURU OF GOSWAMI KRIYANANDA. KRIYANANDA TALKS SO MUCH ABOUT HIS GURU, BUT THIS BOOK GIVES YOU MORE INSIGHT INTO THE MAN.

Gray Mist at Dawn
As a personal disciple of Shellyji, I found this book to be an accurate and refreshing glimpse into the, otherwise unkown, inner world of Kriya Yoga as he taught it. This book goes beyond the ordinary, into the hidden pathways of the universe and gives the reader a glance at what the future may hold for the sincere student of the truth. This is not a book for the faint of heart but rather a unique blend of physical and spiritual reality for those beings who feel they are ready for such an adventure. It is all too easy to view the universe as safe and traditionally we are taught to do so. This book will assist in opening the eyes of those who are beginning to realize that they are asleep.

This book ridiculizes kriya yoga
Inside the book there are a few (very few) good stories about Shelly and Yogananda, along with incredible material dealing with witchcraft, angels and even vampires at a certain point. Having already read something about Shelly in a book (That I did not like much) titled "The spiritual science of kriya yoga" by Goswami Kriyananda, I had many expectations, which remained unfulfilled when I read this book by Cozzi. My humble opinion is that kriya yoga is a serious science and maybe it did not deserve a book like this. Obviously everybody is entitled to like or dislike this book and to believe or disbelieve the contents. My personal opinion is that the contents of this book are not suitable for people seriously interested in kriya yoga as a spiritual path, because it's very strange stuff. A few things reported in the book seem to come from horror movies and not from a kriya yoga master.
