Sorry its a lot of money and the chair is damaged. I did speak to the buyer the day it arrived, I haven't heard back.

I bought this to replace a Merax chair I bought less than 2 years ago that I completely destroyed. One arm was completely gone, and I managed to snap the back of the chair off by leaning in it so much (actually split the wood the screws went into in the seat). Safe to say I'm really hard on chairs. That's why I chose to buy this chair, because it sounded like it was for bigger guys (I'm 6' 2"; 240lbs).First, this chair is extremely comfortable. Plenty of cushion on both the back and the seat. The chair leans back very far, and has a very easily accessible lock on the side that I really love, its more of a switch really. The second and most important thing that stood out to me is this chair feels absolutely solid. The swivel is proper, no rickediness, the casters roll seamlessly, and the arms feel more than securely attached. It was also a breeze to put together, took me about 20 minutes.My only complaints, there was a slight knick on one of the arms, likely caused during transit, not bad enough to make a stink about. And I really really hate this color, but I bought the chair for its perceived sturdiness and comfort, and it delivers 100% in both of those aspects. I will update this review in the next 6 months to a year.UPDATE 10/2018 Chair is still in tact with no damage almost a year later (including the leather), I've been really hard on this chair and it has held up without issue. I will likely only buy these chairs moving forward. Highly recommend.UPDATE 7/26/19 Chair is still nearly damage free another 9-10 months down the road. A little scuffing where the arm rubs against the glass desk, but that isn't the chair's fault. Still glides smooth, arms are still very sturdy which is amazing because I've leaned over them numerous times. No cracks or heavy wear, and still plush in the seat. I'm going to look at LaZBoy chairs first from now on. This one made me a believer.UPDATE 5/30/20 Chair is still going strong, other than some very slight scuffing of the arm where it sometimes rubs against the desk, everything is still in remarkable shape, still plush in the back and seat. I'm impressed, I will buy another one of these chairs if this one ever decides to break.UPDATE 8/18/23I'm blown away. Nearly 6 years of daily use, and not only is everything still functional, the padding is still plush. Coming from a guy who broke chairs every 18 to 24 months. I'm very impressed at the durability.UPDATE 02/2025Chair is still fully functional, but beginning to show heavy wear on the seat and arms. The leather is wearing out where I sit down and get up from the chair. Surprisingly, the seat and back are still very plush, and the chair lock and tilt still work. I'm hoping to get one or two more years before retiring this chair, I will definitely be replacing it with the same or an equivalent model.

This is an office chair nicer than the low-end stuff sold for under $200 at the office stores.Good:- Upholstery durability: This chair has stood up to day-long use for nearly an entire year by someone weighing over 135 kg (300 pounds). There is no sign of wear, cracking or splitting in the upholstery. This is one area where less expensive chairs quickly fail.- Cushioning is quite comfortable.- Mechanical durability: the main support has held up and swivels as well as the day I bought it. I have no sense that the mechanical parts of this chair have deteriorated. This is another area in which this chair shines versus less expensive chairs.Bad:- Main support is tilted enough to notice. For what it's worth, It hasn't gotten worse, so I think this is a manufacturing quality issue, not a part durability issue. I decided to live with it, but I believe some others would easily find this intolerable.Mixed / You Decide:- The arms are a little loose. They were fairly snug when first installed, and have loosened a bit since. They have not gotten bad, though, and do not seem to be worsening.Customer Support:- One of the original arms for my chair was chipped. I contacted the company and they sent a pair of new arms quickly and without fuss.For context, I am a long-time user of office chairs, from the cheap stuff sold at office supply stores, all the way to Herman-Miller Aeron chairs.UPDATE:This chair continues to see daily use. Now, starting year 5 of service, the upholstery is only beginning to crease. The slightly tilted main support (my chief complaint) hasn't gotten any worse, and the arms are no looser than when first installed. At little more than half the price, this chair has lasted much longer than the Herman-Miller Aeron chair it replaced. I am happy to upgrade this rating to 5 stars.

I wanted a big/oversize comfortable chair and that is exactly what I got. The cat can lie beside me when I am sitting on it LOL The seat level is just a little too tall, even at it's lowest setting for me, I am 5' 8" tall.

I have purchased the the La-Z-Boy 45833 Delano Big and Tall ComfortCore Traditions Executive Office Chair, Chestnut (Brown) from Amazon Canada. The first time around, I received a damaged product (the seat cushion was ripped) which I then had to return. The chair is said to have 10 years limited warranty. It has been 3 years of regular use and there are ruptures in the "leather" of the chair, at the seat edge, and also, along the line connecting the seat edge with the center cushion. The attached images show the damages. I have never seen such a low quality chair.This chair is not worth your money. Stay away. You would only be paying for the brand and nothing else.
