What country are these made in?

We use pine from the Carpathian mountains. Our workshop is located in Khyriv, Ukraine. Each shelf is Handmade and has a wax coating, we do not use varnish.

What tools do you need to install it?

Hello Thank you for your question. To install the floating shelves you will need a level, a drill (3/8'') and a screwdriver. Best regards

Would they hold up the weight of Laundry Detergent?

If you used some upgraded mounting hardware it should. I wouldn’t trust the provided toggles to hold much of anything though.
