Blue JuiceValve Oil

Q: What is this used for?

Notice the image of a coronet on the top front of the bottle (it could be a trumpet or any musical instrument with one or more valves). This oil is used to keep those valves lubricated and easy for the player to compress and release when changing notes. I play the trumpet and use it prior to most sessions. I also use it to lube the blades on my electric razor. I would also note that the bottle I received did not have the same kind of cap I see in the product picture. Mine had a cap that forces you to press down to open (as on a medication to protect from kids). It did not work well at all so I poured the contents into the prior bottle I had that was almost empty.

Q: Can it use in the rotary of the trombones?

No, it can not. You would need to use Rotary oil.

Q: What is the viscosity and servicable temperature range?

I don't have any specific numbers, but it has a generally lower viscosity than other oils, and a wide temperature range. Players recommend wiping down valves before reapplying for best results
