They came on time and as described in the information and photos!I ordered these on "Prime Day" and got them on a pretty good (read slammin') sale, so that was wonderful! They have both a fine line and chisel tip, so calligraphy should be easy with this set. The carrying case is completely soft sided, so it collapses easily if you need that, there is nothing inside to "hold" the pens upright, so removing one will allow the others to slide and move around. The case has a handle, easy to grab.The colours are pretty accurate to the cap. I haven't used them long enough to know how well the tip will remain intact, I'm hopeful. They are filled with alcohol ink, so they dry fast without smudging. If you're into Manga or other types of illustration, these should work well for you. Depending on the paper and how long you "stall" with the tip on the paper - they may bleed, but careful use should eliminate most of that issue. Practise makes perfect, so play around and see what you can create by blending and shading. And, as with all markers, blending is easier or more difficult depending on the paper you're using.This set is about 1/3 shades of black and grey- (2/3 other colours), which is great if you're into black and white illustration. Plenty of extremely light shades to darker shades for all skin tones, plenty of vivid/brights, and plenty of paler colours as well - in short: a good variety overall. I do not know how they compare to Copic, I'm way too cheap to purchase Copic.Last words: Obvious Guy says, "Check out the photos!" Look at the colours, notice the dual tips and shape of the pen. If can catch these on sale (currently as I write this review they are 49% off!) it's a great value!

Overall, I like the markers. However, there is only ONE real red marker in the entire 72 pack. The next closest is a red-orange or a red-pink. If you count those, you get three shades of red. But there are 11 different shades of blue, 4 shades of teal, 8 shades of green, 10 of yellow and 9 of grey. I wish there had been just a few more red choices.The markers are also very “wet” which is great when you’re using them, but some of them do tend to get a bit goopy because of that. And so when kids are using them, they can leave stains in unexpected places if the kids set them down on the floor or table without something underneath them. 😬I do really like them. We’ve had them over a year and none of them have dried out. I’d buy them again.

I have been using this marker set for over a week. It is the perfect choice for anyone interested in coloring, drawing and even arts and crafts because there is a good amount of ink in each pen which also flows nicely. The colors are vibrant and blend well to create smooth gradients. I feel like this is a high quality alcohol marker set that is affordable with lots of color variety.
