I love it. I was searching for a good quality fabric scissor to use and I landed on this one. It is really sharp and the price is worth it. I have no regret in buying this one.

Very professional…

These scissors look and feels like professional scissors. Even though people over use the words "cuts like butter", these 8" scissors are very sharp and cuts through thick material very easily. I had to cut through a stack of two pieces of cotton material and two pieces of batting together and it cut through them with ease. If you ever need to use the scissors outside of your home, it comes with its own hard cover sheath to store the scissors so you don't accidentally cut yourself when reaching for it. One end of the scissors is tapered, which makes snipping ends of extra material away very easy. Don't forget to lightly grease the scissors if you are not going to use it for an extended period of time. This will keep the scissors from forming rust, and always store it in its sheath after use as this will also help to prevent rust, especially if you live in a humid environment. Like I said earlier, these are a large pair of scissors, 8", made to cut through lots of material. Even though it is pricey, you wont be disappointed with this purchase. It is easy to carry with you if you sew while on vacation or just on the go. Because it is a sharp pair of scissors, always store it in its protective sheath. If you take care of these scissors, they will always be there when you need it. Oh, every now and then, tighten the screw and nut because it will eventually work itself loose. Happy Cutting! I bought these to replace some cheap fabric scissors I got from Walmart. If I'd known that I could be cutting through my fabrics with such ease, I would have bought a good pair of scissors a long time ago. These are a good weight and sit well in my hand and I have no doubt they'll last me a very long time. I also haven't done any large projects yet, so I'm not sure if I'll find them too heavy after a while. I'd recommend these even to novice and amateur sewers because it's so satisfying gliding through the fabric instead of hacking away at it with some dull kitchen/craft scissors. Just make sure not to use them on anything else because it dulls the blade faster!

Outstanding quality scissors, although I am not using these for dressmaking, I bought them to trim back some curtains after installing thicker pile carpet. Cutting was so smooth and the angle of the scissors made it so easy to get a straight line.

Leí varios reviews antes de comprar éstas tijeras. buscaba justo lo que recibí, la funda protectora para las cuchillas es un plus. Son lo suficientemente grandes, pesadas sin ser incómodo y cómodas al agarrarlas. Lo primero que noté es que realmente están afiladas, actualmente estoy trabajando con sedas y rayones y, quienes cosemos, sabemos que se requiere un muy buen filo para lograr un buen corte. Sin duda las recomendaría :)
