Does this work good to keep polish from fading?

I have not used this product for some time, but my London Butter colors never faded.

I would think so. Butter nail polish is great for all nails.

does this polish contain formaldehyde?

I looked up Butter London on the internet and it does not have formaldehyde or 9 other known harmful ingredients. It is excellent base cost, polish, and top coat.

I have the hardware shine top coat. how does the lid come off? it will not budge, is there a trick to getting the lid off?

You have to cut the small clear sticker on the side of bottle which is on the black cap then on to the glass bottle. Cut it then twist cap to open.
