As others have noted, this is a heavy duty brush that is going to be fine for car carpets and heavily soiled area rugs, but I would get a lighter brush for working seats and upholstery. I used this to work carpet cleaner into a very dirty stairway carpet, and it worked well for the job. Am looking forward to trying it on some harder surfaces. Mine held together fine so far. You will get a workout holding the drill steady.

Very versatile cleaning apparatus. So far I’ve cleaned patio furniture, a couch, a box spring, and the carpet in my truck. It’s got a few more tasks to get done before it can be retired. It’s important to note that this shouldn’t be used on softer fabrics, and it can unbind them, but if you just rub the bristles to feel how hard they are and apply the appropriate amount of pressure during use, it should serve you well.
