Great buy and head
Packaged very well. No broken parts. Very easy to use. Makes about 2 cups of coffee per brew. You can buy denatured alcohol burner fuel locally or get off Amazon . It takes about 10-15 min for water to boil. Handle has good weight and construction for easy pouring

This method gives really nice coffee and visually looks great. It is not that easy to wash, mainly the filters. Also you have to take really good care to not damage the top part when taking the spent coffee grounds.

This is really cool!
I really enjoy coffee. I use many systems from drip to, French press to Aeropress. I really was intrigued by the vacuum coffee makers like this one since I saw a fancier example on Breaking Bad. It's a great conversation piece. Everybody just loves it and beg to see it work. It works just as expected and makes a great cup of coffee. I've never run into cleaning difficulty because I rinse and clean after each use. The cloth filter does get dirty and requires some attention to clean. I would recommend a supply of filters. Since the unit is glass you should be ready to take proper precautions to lessen the chance of breaking. The alcohol lamp works fine but takes awhile to heat. I picked up a butane burner and start with hot water so the wait time is shortened considerably. If you are looking for a really cool gadget that is functional this is something I think you would enjoy along with a fine cup of your favorite coffee!

5 cups is a lie, 600 ml is only 2.5 cups
Giving 3 stars not because of any fault with the coffee maker but the literal title is false . It says 5 cups or 600 ml . Well 600 ml is about 20 oz which is not even 3 cups. It’s not even really enough to make 2 mugs of coffee , if I had known this was only 2.5 cups I think I would have passed.

Den teuren Geräten mehr als ebenbürtig. Klare Kaufempfehlung. Möchte ich nicht mehr missen. Produziert äußert guten Kaffee. 600 ml Version reicht übrigens perfekt für Zwei Tassen am Morgen. Mehr wurde auch persönlich nicht benötigt.

Great product, works as it should. Bigger size would be nice! Very nice for a Sunday morning in bed, but make sure you secure the clamp very tight, I think mine wasn't, and I got burned from the crotch to my bussy
