This has been a lifesaver!! I have trouble walking long distances and trouble standing for a long time. This allows me to stop and rest for a moment when there’s no where else to sit. It’s also longer, 38 inches long when using it as a cane. Others are only 34 inches which is too short, I’m six foot tall. I had been looking for something like this for a long time. I may even buy another one. I would hate to lose it.

Very handy. This was a helpful and convenient product. I purchased for my mom to use while visiting Disney which is what is allowed. She stated it was lightweight so easy to carry around and the chair was comfortable for her. I can attest as I tried it myseld. I definitely recommend. It came already assembled and you just have to make sure the legs are even and clicked in place. I read many reviews before purchasing and we are very satisfied. One review mentioned you cannot return either because it is a medical device. I don't plan to return but for me it does say free returns. This made our trip to Disney a better experience.

The unit is lightweight and the seat is rated for up to 250 lb person. The unit was easy to assemble and is practical.

NOTE THAT THIS IS A MEDICAL DEVICE SO AMAZON CANNOT ACCEPT RETURNS UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. So don't order one just to try it out; you've got to be committed to this thing. Perfect for theme parks. It is so nice to sit in lines instead of stand. Dland won't let you bring in a folding chair, but they will let you bring a cane chair as long as you assure the NPCs in security that you'll use it as a cane and not a chair. Security will make you stand if they catch you sitting on one out in the open (e.g., parades) but none of the other employees will because they have souls. No matter how many times they catch you sitting on one they cannot make you throw it away, all they can ask you to do is stop sitting. Then you can resume once the robots turn around. In 8 separate occasions of using this at Disneyland I only had one security a-hole ask me to not sit on it, and I was out in the open so it was easy for him to spot me. I don't think this thing will ever break. It doesn't fold up as small as other folding chairs out there, but it makes up for it in sturdiness. The fabric ones tend to rip if you get a crappy brand. The cane tends to come apart as you're walking so it's terribly inconvenient using as a cane. It's the worst cane I've ever used. If you're buying this for the cane, my recommendation would be to try your luck at Walmart or a store that sells wheelchairs/canes where you can try one out, then return them easily if they don't work out. I would also like to note that I got 1 day shipping for this. I had a folding tripod camping chair that folds up SUPER small, and I got caught with it at Disneyland and they literally made me take it back to the Disneyland hotel, so I was able to get this chair at about noon the next day, I just shipped it directly to the hotel front desk and the Amazon app told me when it was delivered. This was a life-saver because for the life of me, I could not find a brick-and-mortar store that sold these in Anaheim.

Great but way to heavy

I had a major heart attack right after Christmas, but I wanted to get back to an active lifestyle as quickly as possible. This chair cane was just what I needed. I found that in my early recovery period, I got tired very quickly. This chair cane was/is light enough and easy enough to walk with that it was just when I needed when there were no benches or chairs around. This gave me the freedom to explore that I would not have had otherwise. When unfolded, the chair is quite comfortable for short periods. I wouldn’t want to sit on it for several hours, but for 30 minutes or so it was very fine. My wife even made use of it and she enjoyed it. I’m writing in the past tense because I have recovered enough that I don’t need this any more. But it is useful enough and comfortable enough that I keep it in my car, ready for whenever I need or want it. One very small downside. It does take some practice walking with this as a cane because all three legs are very tighly folded together. You have to learn how to plant the back leg, walk forward, and let the cane roll onto the front leg. No problem at all once you get used to it. Just be sure the seat is firmly snapped into place. This is a great tool and I don’t think I would have been as far along as I am in my recovery without it.

I bought this for an upcoming trip as I have to get off of my feet due to bilateral neuropathy in both legs/feet which I have due to a progressive illness. Upon receipt I tried to adjust the height on this to suit me and it was extremely difficult to press the buttons in to adjust this and I injured my hand trying to do it. It was not just me, my very strong husband tried it and he could barely do it either. Once I got this set-up, I was going to sit on it and it fell over before I had the chance to sit down on it. For this reason alone, I do not believe that this is a safe item to use for anyone. The seat is made out of a very hard unforgiving plastic and is very uncomfortable to sit on no matter how big your rear may be and how much fat you may have on it. In my case, I am about 5'4" tall and weight about 160 lbs. I would certainly not recommend this item to anyone. It is bulky, awkward, and dangerous, especially those with balance problems. Therefore, I believe that this item is a complete waste of money so please, do not buy one. If you are to the point I am at where you simply must get off of your feet and sit down (I cannot stand for much longer than 10 minutes on a good day), try another type of collapsible chair or even a collapsible wheelchair (these are quite costly and weigh over 25 lbs. but could be a good idea and/or investment if you are at this level of need). One that I was told about that is supposed to be good is the Collapsible Chair made by DRIVE. Warning on this however, the price is about 25 times the amount as this chair/cane costs.

It is an amazing stool,& light weight. Perfect to use in stores while waiting for family to finish their shopping 🤗

Excelente compra para una persona mayor que requiere sentarse constantemente. El bastón es ligero y el asiento es cómodo. Importante leer las instrucciones de cómo se debe de sentar. Se ve resistente y de hecho un viaje con intenso uso de el , y sigue en perfecto estado. Los ajustes de altura son sencillos y se puede hacer lo más compacto posible cuando se guarda en el portaequipaje en el avión.

This was most handy during the December lines at the post office and bank! It also came in handy when I needed to sit down and discuss computer repairs needed at the Corona-barricaded computer repair shop. They had no chairs for customers in their tiny, hole-in-the-wall shop, they put plexiglass across the door instead. This model is much better than the cheaper version which is flimsier & has no height adjustments. (Adjustment tubes may come off in transit, easily replaced, just press silver height adjustment buttons shown in last photo). Ships in a flat box as shown. You must lock the seat in place when folding it up after using the chair, to use it for walking. The only thing I'd change is to make it sturdy enough for heavier people. I've shown this to 2 handicapped folks who are either on or over the weight limit. WELL, MY FIRST ONE GOT STOLEN...WHO STEALS AN OLD LADY'S CANE?! HE CLEANED OUT MY CAR, QUITE LITTERALLY, TOOK MY US ID TOO... SO 6 YEARS LATER, I PURCHASED ANOTHER ONE. THIS UPDATED VERSION HAS A CLIP TO KEEP THE CHAIR FROM POPPING OUT WHEN IN "CANE MODE". I FEEL CONFIDENT TO VENTURE OUT ON FOOT AGAIN, KNOWING THAT I CAN STOP AND SIT DOWN AT ANY TIME IN THIS TOWN OF MANY HILLS!

C'est tres pratique pour quelqu'un qui comme moi ne peut pas rester debout longtemps. Je l'utilise plus comme un siege que comme une canne. En tant que canne ce n'est pas pratique mais en tant que siège qu'on peut transporter partout c'est très bien. Je l'emporte partout avec moi.Je le recommande à des personnes ayant les mêmes besoins que moi. C'est solide et léger mais le siège est assez étroit, pour moi (110 lb), c'est très bien mais pour quelqu'un pesant 250 lb ??

First, I have spinal stenosis and neurogenic claudication. That means I get into a lot of pain standing or walking for a period of time, varies between five and fifteen minutes, but sitting is fine. This is the opposite of degenerative disk drive sesame, who have their greatest trouble with sitting. I love to go shopping in large hardware stores, but by the time I get to the product I want to review, I am in too much pain to review it. Sitting on the floor attracts too much attention. Being able to sit down, read the details on an item, or look and exam different items being sold while in the store frees me to do the things I enjoy. After two or three minutes, the pain is gone, and on to the next item. It means I am not restricted to shopping at Amazon. On the other hand, I couldn't find this product any where else! You have to be careful with it as the construction is a balance between strength and portability. I'm am ex football player, built like one, and with a little care, it works just fine for me. Now I can spend hours in Home Depot, but I try to buy some stuff on Amazon to support it too. Because if you can't find it somewhere, you can find it here. Good product.
