Otherwise, they are sturdy, lightweight, and clip easily onto my scrubs. Pros: • Perfect brightness (not too dim, not too harsh). • Pupil gauge on the side is super useful for students. • Clips securely to pockets. Cons: • No batteries included (requires AAA). I’m a veterinary medicine student, and I bought these penlights for my clinical practice. I tested both of them, and they work perfectly! The light is bright, the pupil gauge is easy to read, and they feel sturdy and well made. The only minor issue was that the outer box arrived a little crushed. However, the penlights themselves were not affected at all because each one was individually sealed in its own plastic packaging. Overall, I’m very happy with this purchase and would definitely recommend these penlights to other nursing, medical, or veterinary students.
