Poppy Austin Best Vitamin C Serum For Face

This serum changed my skin for good in less than a week. My skin is brighter and looks healthier now. Plus, it is a great value!

I thought that getting a serum with a combination of all the recommended things which are good for your skin would be a great idea, however, this product isn't as great as it seems on paper. It actually made my face sting, and it leaves my already dry skin very tight and dry. Perhaps this may be more suitable for combination or oily skin.

Now that I'm into my 30s I am trying to fight my skin's ageing as much as possible & have started to try new products & incorporate more into my somewhat simple skin care routine. I have some dark patches on my cheeks from birth control & sun exposure that are my only real pet-peeve. I first tried another C serum I purchased off amazon for a few months & was overall happy with the results, but the constancy seemed a little watery & the bottle ran out pretty fast since I like to use it on my face, neck & chest. It was my first time ever trying a C serum & I noticed results after a few weeks. When I ran out of that brand, I decided to try the Poppy Austin serum due to the larger size & the good reviews. After a week of use I had 2 strangers think I was almost 10 years younger than I am. I was actually carded at a store & the clerk (who was WAY younger than me) was surprised at my age. His exact words were "No way"... & I take that as a compliment. I don't think the Poppy Austin C serum is completely the reason (because I am religious about my sunblock & other aspects of my health), but it's definitely made my skin brighter, smoother & is evening out the tone already. My dark patches are still there, but slightly less noticeable. I use it twice a day, morning & night under my regular moisturizer, sunblock & powder make-up with no issues. I will continue to purchase this serum in the future & plan on buying my mother some to try for Christmas this year. Great product!

This product goes on so easily and I use the extra each time on the back of my hands. Pretty bottle, quick to receive and a good price. It’s a little early to tell the difference yet but I am using it two times a day.

Pretty good stuff for the price. I add a Vitamin E capsule to the contents and shake it with each use. I also refrigerate it and it lasts longer. Adding the Vitamin E cap does not in any way make it greasy, but actually makes it nicer to apply and I believe preserves it. It does temporarily tighten the skin and the vitamins are good for the face! I'll continue using it until I find something better at a comparable price!
