I just tried it and I'm very impressed- I have curly hair and like to add in a few for volume.I'm hoping this curing wand is for the long haul cause my last one lasted for 10 years-fingers crossed

Works Well!
Works well even for the thick, wavy hair. I’ve had everything from Hot Tools Professional, Beach Waver, Bed Head and Conair and until this day I swear the best wand I had ever used came from some small, unknown kiosk at our local mall many moons ago. It costed less than $40 and I forgot what happened to it upon getting married and moving it was not in the picture anymore. I went on to spend $100+ on brand names such as Beach Waver and Hot Tools both of which dropped the ball big time. This little tool came runner up to my old wand. I recommend this to anyone with thick, long hair it WILL wave it just give it a few extra seconds to make sure it’ll hold shape because I promise you it will! :)

best curling wand ever!
I owned my last one for 6 years and it finally died, so I purchased a new one, which died after 1 day. Amazon made the exchange process super easy, and my new one works perfectly. I would definitely suggest purchasing off amazon rather than the online retailer.As for the wand, it's AMAZING. Best wand I've ever tried, and my mom is a hair dresser. Curls typically tend to fall right out before i'm even fished curing my hair! This wand actually keeps the curl so well and will last all day! It works well on on fresh clean hair or dirty (second day) hair. It comes with a glove, which makes it super easy to work with the wand and doesn't make my hair all static-y. My hair is pretty thin, but it works on so many hair types!I've read online that the black wands gets hotter than the coloured wands, but I have not found this to be the case.Love this wand!!
