Equity 75906 LED Alarm Clock with High/Low Dimmer, 1.8", Red

I didn't expect the numbers on the clock to be so large, but they are. I have the dimmer set to low and can see the time from across the room. I don't even have to squint my eyes. Very happy with my purchase.

This is a very good clock. There are two settings for how bright you want the display. The low setting is still a bit on the bright side, but tolerable at night for sleeping. I find that the alarm switch, being on the side, is hard to turn off in the morning. I would prefer that switch to be 1) more easily accessible and, 2) more easily to switch to 'off' position.

Very reasonable price and very easy to set up. The numbers are a little larger and wider than those on the Emerson Research clock radio I replaced, and they're brighter on "dim". However, I've found that red numbers don't throw as much light as blue numbers at night and am very happy with this clock. I have a dog that thinks 5 AM is an excellent time to start our day (I'm retired), so I doubt I'll need to use the alarm feature, but it's nice to have, just in case.

The first one that I received only lasted an few days, but the replacement that Amazon sent me has been working well. The alarm is nice and loud. My only complaint is that the button locations are not easy for me to find and set it in the dark.

does what an alarm clock is meant to do.....set the time....it goes off....push the sleeper bar or the off button.last "alarm" clock I had took 10 mins to set (had 4 alarms), 8 buttons on top-never hit the off or sleep button, never needed or used the radio (would always hit the radio button when trying to turn it off).LOVE this clock!

Update: broke in less than a year and the warrant is useless. Will never buy this brand again!I love this clock. The numbers are fat and large enough that I can see them without my glasses at night from across the room. I had the old model which lasted for years. Finally it started pulsing and I found the backup battery had burst.I don't know if the 2 were connected. I tried a different manufacturer's model with thin blue numbers. I couldn't see the numbers at night and the blue light annoyed me. I returned this and I bought this updated model and I love it. I won't put in a battery this time as I don't use it as an alarm.

This alarm is great. Love the light and how it is not too bright at nights. I haven't used the alarm and cant comment on it, but overall pretty happy with the product.
