I'm very happy with the purchase of my first wine decanter
I'm very happy with the purchase of my first wine decanter. The quality of the product is exceptional. I keep it on display when it's not in use as it looks great. As the description notes, the base is styled to allow the maximum surface area when filling the decanter with a 750 ml bottle of wine. This ensures that the aeration of the wine happens as fast as possible. And it works very efficiently. In the 15 minutes between my first and second glass of wine, I could easily taste the improvement in the wine. My only small criticism of the product is that it will drip a bit of wine down the outside of the spout when you pour from the decanter. I would still definitely recommend this decanter for anyone looking to improve the flavour of their wines.

A perfect classic decanter
This is an excellent product. The design is simple and classic and made out of good material (solid and easy to use). I would recommend this product for anyone looking for a reasonably priced wine decanter with a classic design.

Stylish,well designed decanter - perfect for red wine.
This decanter is the perfect shape for decanting red wine as it allow for maximum aeration of the wine owing to its wide spout and broad base. Its manufactured from 100% blown glass which means its lighter in weight than the more traditional lead crystal decanters. However , in my view , this makes it a more practical proposition if you are pouring a full bottle of wine.The angle of the spout is designed to avoid the wine dripping down the neck and the width allows plenty of room to pour the wine into the decanter. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this decanter as its on at a great price. Frankly you could pay double this price but you would be wasting your money. The customer service back up from Upper Echelon ( the seller) which I had occasion to use initially was excellent.
