How many different blade types does it come with?

It comes with only one, and the grate squares are 1/2” x 1/2” dia. It’s also shorter (so more compact) than the Vidalia chop wizard - which has 2 grates.

Could this be used to dice eggs for egg salad?

IF you don'r mind a little big bigger pieces of eggs it should out fine

Can you tell me the dimensions of the actual chopping surface? I want to know how small I have to cut my vegetables so that they will fit the grid.

Half of any onion fits well. Tho, it isn't good for all vegetables!!

Dishwasher safe. Blades are tricky to clean but I use a brush to clean straws and that helps a lot.
