Sound is good, long battery, but they just don't fit well.
I had the Jaybird x2 for years and absolutely loved them. They fit great, sounded amazing, and just overall were amazing headphones. They only broke because I caught them on something and broke the cord, entirely my fault.I ordered the Jaybird x4 and they are significantly different than the x2. Of all the ear plugs they came with, regardless of size, they fit so strangely. The regular rubber ones do not get a proper seal in either size, and the foam ones are weird and just not very comfortable. The bass is weak because I can't get a proper seal, and whether I'm running or in the gym, I'm constantly needing to adjust them to stay in the right place in my ear.I hate to give this review, because I was such a fan of my previous Jaybirds. I recommended them to many people, and described them as the best headphones I'd ever had. I wish I had just found another set of those I had in the past, because to be honest I'm just not happy with these at all.Anyone wanna trade?

Why couldn't you just stay with what worked!!!
Oh Jaybird, what did you do?! The x2 I had was awesome. The fit was great and so was the sound. I figured the x4 would be even better, but you found a way to mess up a good thing. The new design of the fins and ear pads makes it fall out the ear no matter what. Very disappointing!

A 'real' review
The earbuds are quite amazing when it comes to sound. They have a customizable eq through the app, which completely changes the dynamic to sound. Moving on to the app, it's quite good there are small conveniences like having to connect the earbuds to the app separately from the device but other than that it's easy to use. The design is nice and sleek, but the carrying case is somewhat redundant becasue its so mall, you can fit everything like the earbuds and charger but it's too small and I usually just still the buds in my pocket as the rubberized earbuds keep them from falling out. My original pair had a charging issue where they wouldn't charge or turn on, amazon took care of the shipping and the second pair has been pretty good. The fit is nice with lots of options but I have to say the charger is annoying becasue it's not USB-c or micro but rather a stupid unique adapter.

Very uncomfortable to wear
Love the sound quality, but it is very uncomfortable to wear. I put it on for 10 minutes and it starts to become sore. No point in having earphones that can hold a charge for longer than most products if they're uncomfortable to wear. Tried switching out the silicon piece of the earbud and still the same result. I tried to wear them in different occasions after giving my ear a break. The discomfort is a huge deal breaker.

Not worth full or even Black Friday sale price.
I bought these on sale ($89 CND) on Black Friday because I couldn't quite stomach paying $199 CND to replace my Jaybird Tarah Pro (that were provided as replacements for my broken Jaybird X3). The sound quality is okay but the fit and comfort is not good. As a result the sound isolating is poor. The Tarah Pros had a much better fit, sound isolating and the braided cord is much missed. Too bad the controller and mic started to go after THREE months. Even the X3 had much better fit and sound isolation. Of course, the X3 ceased to be able to charge after 6 months. The next pair of bluetooth headphones I buy will not be from Jaybird.
