Q: is the main difference between these and the x4 just battery time and less customizeable ear buds?

I have the x4 and bought these for my wife. One she opened them I bought another pair for myself simply because the design and fit is better than the x4. Everyone’s ears and fit are different though, so just my preference.

Q: These do not stay in my ear and the silicone buds create pressure in my ear. Any suggestions for aftermarket over ear hooks and different bud covers?

I had the same problem and stopped wearing them and also submitted a very similar review. i do have 2-3 other pairs of Jaybird X-3's and use their foamy covers. They stay in and are comfortable.

Q: Does it work with PC?

I don't have first hand experience using the headphones with a PC, but if your PC has Bluetooth capability it should work.
