This musical snow globe is absolutely beautiful. Wanted a year round globe which can be left out to enjoy. To me it totally represents love - my husband & me. It would be appropriate for many memorable celebration. I’ve SCOURED” the internet for the perfect item & this one was most beautiful. The price was great @ Amazon as usual.*** The description given above says no batteries needed. If you want the colors, snow to fall automatically, & music to display YOU DO NEED BATTERIES. Otherwise, you can turn the globe upside down to get snow. Just as nice. So happy I bought.
