It lists as "Nutricology Ox Bile, 500 mg, 100 Vegetarian Capsules". How can it be vegetarian if it is derived from a bovine source?

For those of us that eat a Kosher diet, vegetarian capsules are extremely important as most capsules are made from porcine (pork). So the label is VERY important and not misleading at all. You are looking at a product clearly labeled Ox Bile. Get over yourselves.

Is this Ox bile purified?

The of bile doesn't need to be purified of anything, because the purpose of the product is to help digest fats, and ox bile does that perfectly just the way it is.
