Finally, a hardshell case that fits my banjolele - yay!
Glad a found this Kala case as others didn't fit. My Sound Smith built banjo ukulele measures 23.75" total length, 10.5" neck length, 4.5" headstock, 9" diameter body (pot) and is 3.25" deep. My banjolele body fits snuggly in the well padded case and is secure. When I first picked up the EMPTY case, it felt top heavy and unbalanced but as the body of the banjolele heavy, once it's in the case, it's nicely balanced. I couldn't be happier.

Strong Case
A nice sturdy case for my Banjolele. I feel better about carrying it around to gigs now.

Kala banjolele hard shell case
Got this case when I got the Kala tenor banjolele, and I have been very happy with it. A little on the heavy side for traveling, but seems well made, has a good heft and balance, and is very-well padded inside, with the padding keeping the instrument from moving around, and the outer shell offering good protection. The instrument fits in the case snugly, but with room under the headstock for a Cooperstand, and with a thick (comfortable) strap I keep attached to the body. I shift over to a gig-bag for when I don't feel like carrying the hefty case, but otherwise the banjo-uke lives happily in this case.

Sturdy but a little bulky
It holds the banjolele securely and it has a large accessories compartment, but it is bulky—about the same size as a tenor ukulele case.

PERFECT FOR A BANJOLELE (BANJO-UKELELE
It’s really hard to find a case for a banjolele. This one is perfect. Fits nicely and is super-protected.

Never uke without protection!
I recently took delivery of a wonderful Aaron Keim-built Mya-Moe Beansprout banjo uke. Mya-Moe includes a really nice soft gig-bag, but even while waiting for the uke I looked for something a bit more protective, particularly with the threats my instruments are exposed to in airline overhead bins, shared vans, backstage dressing and equipment rooms, etc. I knew that the Kala banjo uke had similar dimensions. Kala used to show this case for sale on its own site, but it seems to have disappeared. It did show up on Amazon, however, from an Amazon-serviced dealer, Liquid Inc. Might have been something left in Liquid's inventory. Bottom line: Liquid quickly shipped the Kala-branded case, and it's perfectly sturdy, fits the Mya-Moe very nicely, and it and the Mya-Moe have already survived travel and a musical theater production where the gig-bag wouldn't have been as protective.

BAD Banjolele case
This case is much to small for my Deering banjolele. It is useless for me.

ALSO FIT'S A "LANIKAI LBU-C"
This "KALA" case also fit's a LANIKAI LBU-C, Lanikai Banjolele (ukulele banjo, concert size). Fit's like a tight glove (including strap end pin button); and my thanks to the Kala representative that quickly answered my email inquiry about the size specifications. I looked all over for a hard case for this instrument, and finally stumbled across this case. Incidentally, Amazon was the only ad I found for this case that actually stated the case dimensions. Lanikai has produced this model banjolele since 2011. Too bad they dropped the ball completely in not offering a hard case for their instrument that retails for over $500.00. I guess KALA get's the advertising wherever I take it. Keep on pluck'in! Incidentally, after I bought the Lanikai LBU-C, I happened across the "Tonewood Dub 1 F Resonator Ukulele Banjo" for A LOT less $$$; and appears to be identical to the Lanikai model.
