No more faded tags on my trees and shrubs.

This is perfect! I just bought some woods and am working to make it a native demonstration forest. These tags are perfect for marking trees and shrubs. The jumbo size is great. It will take me a while to use 100 of these, but when I do I will definitely reorder. Super fast shipping!!! There was concern in a different review about the cardboard center getting wet. That layer of padding is necessary only to make the impression with the ball point pen. After that, it's not necessary, so if it rots and falls away over time, it's fine. The paper is sandwiched between two layers and they are NOT coming apart. These tags will probably outlive me.

Even if/when the cardboard rots inside, we should be able to ID trees with these tags, and most likely my children, or future owners of the property also. Fine point pens .5mm, .7mm and .8mm ball point pens tend to dig into, and push through when writing, a medium point like 1MM ball-pen seems to work better. (Maybe a ball stylus might work better, but didn't try....) My writing is horrible, and with little effort, with these larger tags it is moderately easy to read the tags, if you plan what to write ahead of time... I found writing indention works better on a plastic card table, rather than folded up microfiber as the backing... Both sides are writable, separately, so you can list even more details on the back side. These seemed to me they are pretty pricey, with 100 Jumbo Tags @$38.95, But doing the math, ~$0.39/each that will last 2+ lifetimes isn't that bad...

Easy to write on, a decent size for adding information about the tree and look to have a good quality wire for attaching the tag onto the tree. Time will tell once I’ve attached them to the trees.

Nice big labels. Easy to write on. I was surprised to see the ends were not sealed and the paper liner exposed. I’ve only had them a few weeks and I live in the desert so probably not an issue for me but those in wetter environments might have a problem. Time will tell.

So stoked to find these quality tags!! I went with the jumbo size because there is plenty of room for more info (I went with tree name and date I planted it.) I also really wanted the jumbo tags to double as a reflective squirrel/bird deterrent!! Glad they are made in the USA 🇺🇸

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Outstanding product. You can write on it with a medium ball point pen and the engraving looks perfect. You can engrave both sides. Made in usa!!

Good quality and seem to be holding up well outside in the weather.
