UIs the set made ion England???

The sets were originally made in England. My grandmothers set was purchased there in the very beginning of the 1960's while visiting family. After a certain year, the sets were made in India or Asia I believe.

Can the dishes be placed in the dish washer?

It is not recommended by the mfg, as the dish washer will take off the gold rim.

How prone is the gold trim to wear ?

We have had ours for a year. Use it 2-3 times a year and hand wash. So far no problems.

Will gold rim wear off if used everyday?

HI! I used them for over 30 years gold trim is still intact. depend on how you can take care of it with no bleach when washing. they are so beautiful and elegant for the dinner table. thanks

Bad quality

Amazon already updated in the app that the items were undeliverable but I still ended up gettint them! Upon delivery box and items damaged!!! Shattered which gives me more problem bec now I have to do refund when they could easily correct their mistake
