My older brother was able to retire early and buy a beautiful sailboat. He has always had an appreciation for maritime history. He recently had his 10th knee operation and this was his second knee replacement. I knew he would be laid up for a while and wanted to give him a gift that would occupy him but not be very complicated. Found this replica racing sailboat model. He found it very easy to complete assembly and loved its authenticity and truly classic look so much he chose to make it the centerpiece on the mantle in his gorgeous home. Awesome gift for a friend, loved one or to yourself!

The produce is fine but the directions for raising the sails are poorly written. The illustration provided also leaves much to the imagination with little detail. Be prepared to use other sources to determine line placements on sails.

This sailboat model is very nice looking and everything looks proportionate and to scale. Everything came well packaged and great condition. It appears the sailboat was completely outfitted (with rigging installed) and then the mast was lifted and placed on the deck. Assembly was straightforward, with the notable exception of any instructions. Looking at the photos and drawings (top/left of this page), it was easy to reconnect al of the rigging to its hardpoints. Overall, this is an eye catching addition to our collection. Highly recommended!

Beautiful boat that’s a great size. Needed a large piece to cover a 70” wide 10 feet tall wall space. This fit perfect.

I bought this as a challenging puzzle for my dad on his birthday. The boat looks beautiful, but he finished it within a few hours.

This is a nice model sailboat a a decent price. It took about 30 minutes to untangle the lines and hook to the deck. The front three sails do seem like the lines aren’t long enough at first. However, there is extra line wrapped at the jib, if you look closely. You can pull the extra line out and it fits perfect! It’s kind of like adjusting the sails in a real boat! It arrived in two days. I enjoy seeing it on my mantle.

Cheap China Crap, you will not be happy with this unless your are blind.
