DC1000 High-Yield Indoor Plant Grow Light, Fits 2x2/2x3/2x4 ft Tents

A friend of mine has been using these LED plant growing lights to supplement natural light in his green house, and I decided to get one so I could expand my indoor seed starting setup. I was impressed with the quality of the packaging, everything arrived in perfect condition. I was also very happy to learn that this LED grow light comes with a selection of hardware to make hanging it quick and easy. Many other lights do not include hanging hardware, so this is definitely a benefit of this particular light. Overall the light works extremely well, and is VERY bright. I used an analog lux meter to compare the output of this to some other LEDs that I already owned and the BESTVA light has significantly more LUX, even when measured further away from the light source. The power draw is totally reasonable for how much visible light this generates, and so far my tomato starts seem to be thriving under it. The build quality feels very solid, and overall the quality of the materials inspired confidence. I am also pleased with the length of the power cord, and the fact that it is removeable, in case you want to substitute in a longer cord to reach outlets which are further away from where you choose to hang it. Price-wise I feel that this is a good value, and I only wish that maybe I had purchased the next size larger for my particular situation.

So I am worried because this is a 2k watt light for cheap with IR and UV. While I dont know the light measurements since my light meter broke. I ordered 4 of these to replace 2 HPS 1000 Watt lights, so on paper I went from 2k Watt to 8k Watts. It is still early to tell if I am saving on energy but I am pretty sure I will. On a daily graph of energy I use to use 84 KWH per day with lights on 18/6 I now I am only using 41 KWH's. So for the last 2 days I have used 41.2 KWH and 42.8 KWH. So already I see a HUGE different in amount of energy used. Now onto the lights. I wish I had my tool to measure the light levels on this. on that side I can't help, but I will say the plants have EXPLODED!!!! I grow indoors and in a 12x14 room. No CO2 burner nor CO2 bags, but CO2 in the room runs from 650 to 700ppm which is more than enough for my medicine. So I have noticed that yes it does not penetrate like HPS does, BUT if you grow your harvest correctly, If you are a Fimmer or Topper and use Super cropping correctly, this light will do wonders. So I am a big person on writing down levels of temp, co2, ppm of nutes, and even measuring the plants. Yes I am that detailed lol, yes I have OCD. So during the time since seed, my plants grew 54.3 inches in 2 months, over the last week they have only grew 2.1 inches up. After hanging the lights they have already grew 1.4 inches in 2 1/2 days. I dont know if its because of the UV and IR, since my old 1000 watt hps hoods were double ended and had glass which cut the UV and IR out. The heat from these devices is VERY minimal, I have a small 12000 BTU AC and room is set at 75 degrees at all time, and its only on 4, the heat difference is HUGE compared from HPS to LED. I use to pipe my HPS with a CFM fan out the ceiling, I took it all down and put these in and the room holds CO2 way better since the fan isn't taking it out of the room, and way easier to control temp So far I am very very pleased with these lights, yes they are cheap, I am unsure on how they are so cheap, but I have had NOTHING but good results with these lights. I have switched to 12/12 now and will give more update on advancement of the plants and power consumption. So far I love this product and will be buying more. I want 8 of these in a 10x10 tent with a co2 burner. But so far these were worth every penny!!!! Also make sure to buy glasses, these are SUPER bright and hurt your eyes without glasses haha. I forgot to grab them, went in and started working and my eyes were like a strobe light when I left the room.

I’ve owned this BESTVA grow light for nearly 2 months now and I’m extremely satisfied with it so far. I actually purchased 2 of these lights at the same time, but so far I’ve only been using one, so I can only speak for the performance of this unit specifically. My plants have stayed strong, healthy, vibrant green, and compact throughout the vegetative stage. The light output is impressive for the price, and the build quality feels solid. One thing I personally found works really well is running both the VEG and BLOOM settings together during an 18/6 light cycle, even in the actual plants’ vegetative state. In my experience, the plants responded much better compared to using VEG mode alone — faster growth, fuller leaves, and overall healthier structure. TRUST ME — IF YOU CAN MAKE IT TO WEEK 4 or 5, GROWTH WILL ACCELERATE AND BECOME EXPLOSIVE AFTER THAT POINT! Heat output has been manageable, coverage has been great for my setup, and overall this has been an excellent purchase. Looking forward to seeing the final yield results, but so far I’m very impressed and would definitely recommend this light. Love the light and the hanging rig that is included, bought 6 of these and more on the way. These are great full spectrum lights with all the extra UV/IR the plants need, good value as well. The glasses are just regular sun glasses, if you are going to use these lights get actual grow room glasses to convert the pink light into something easier on your eyes. I'd like them better if I could daisy chain them together, but all in all very happy with these lights, my plants love them and for the love of all that is holy don't look at the bloody light when it's running, your parents told you not to do it with the sun - well this is a reproduction of the sun on very small scale....so don't do it... Mildly annoying they changed the design after I already had 4 of the older models before the duel switches were installed, but excellent results. Running 6 lights for 12 plants with a small AC unit to handle the minor heat generated by the lights. Can keep the lights <12” from plants without burning (do have to water extra to deal with it) and plants are just blowing up! I’ve got plants 2 weeks old the size of 4 week plants using other lights. **edit** About 6 months after my last purchase about 30% of the bloom light failed, contacted company, sent them a photo and they had a new light to me within 2 days. Excellent customer service and prompt response bumped from 4 to 5 stars as a result. Edit number 2. Yet another light failed with about 20-30% of the veg lights failing. Dropped back down to 4 stars. Hopefully they fix whatever is causing this repeated failure of a portion of the lights

I wasn't sure what to get and was being told much more expensive brands with higher costs. Not only does this work well, it has multiple light settings and a fan which helps keep everything in check.

I use a CMH light for all stages of growing in my bigger tents. I got this because it was cheap, and wanted to check it out. Just know your not getting 1000 actual watts, but about 200 watts. Look on a package of your LED lightbulbs you use in your house. It says what the LED watt is, and also what the actual watts are. That's not to say this light is worthless. Just understand how it works so you get the best from your grow - because isn't that the point? I'm using this in my 2x2 tent because it runs completely cool and is small. Plug it in and go. Uses hardly any electricity. It's nice for what I'm using it for. For a small grow, this would work just fine. If your limited on space, want an inexpensive light to start out with, or just want to grow one auto fem plant, I would just use this light. You wouldn't have to worry about heat build up in a small area. A small fan would be all you'd need. Put a bottle of ona gel in the next room to scrub odor. So it definitely has it's place. And it's convenient. Good medical plants each need at least 400 par up to 1000 par. So make sure you know what height/inches your plants need to be to be, without burning or bleaching the tops. From this manufacturer: 6" is 1901 par 12" is 958 par 18" is 595 par 24" is 447 (directly under the light) and then ranges outwards, to maximum of 4 ft, at 47 par 30" is 230 par directly under the light. Skip back up to the picture of this light and flip through until you see where it says Bestva Dual-Chip 1000W PAR value picture. That way you can get a good visual of where you'd need to put your plant in relation to this light. You want to get it as close as possible, without bleaching or burning your plants. LEDs run cool, which is what is so great about them. Just got to find that sweet spot. You can supplement this light with some CFL's for even more watts for cheap. Your gonna get the best out of this light, if you put it 6-12" above your plant. Just don't burn your plants. Happy growing!

Great quality light, highly satisfied. After 9 months of use, ran into issue with the VEG mode powering on. Contacted customer support and they offered so send me full replacement light after provided a few videos. Would highly recommend this light to any interested grower.

The grow light works and provides good brightness for my plants, but it wasn’t quite what I expected. Setup was easy, and the full-spectrum light seems to help with plant growth. However, it runs a bit warmer than I anticipated, and the coverage area feels smaller than advertised. It’s a decent option for smaller plants or seedlings, but if you’re growing a larger setup, you may need additional lighting. Overall, it’s okay, but there are better options available for the price.

I’ve tried a bunch of different lights over the years and this one is still my favourite. Don’t waste your money elsewhere. A++++

Si vas a empezar con una carpa menor a 1m, 1m, 2m, tiene luz más que suficiente. La D200 cubre perfectamente 1.30m cuadrados permitiendote plantas sin carencias. Esta es una cantidad aproximada de 380Whats reales en iluminación. Sus costos, Si son considerablemente altos siendo en la ciudad de México de hasta $1200 mensuales en periodos de 18/6 más Bloom El Vegetativo más el Bloom, si funcionan de manera eficiente, manteniendo con vida mis plantas madre, por más de un año sin problemas, permitiéndome los ciclos artificiales de 18/6 e incluso 20/4. Estoy considerando seriamente en adquirir una D4000 para una carpa secundaría. son luces Que pueden dar resultados profesionales y palpables. .

No good at all. The light was supposed to be hung up to be used. The hitch points on the top of the light were all loose. Lucky it didn't end up with the light falling and smashing, as I tried to hang it up. The unit is a sealed unit, so the screw-up light hitches, cannot be accessed to tighten them up. A big waste of over $500 since no one has helped me with the product, defective as it is? I wish I had never risked such an expensive purchase, with a seller that was not the manufacturer, on Amazon. This expensive lesson should save someone else suffering a similar loss, I hope.

So far, tremendous results. Using 4 for a 10' x 7' room, should maybe run 6 of them for that area, but things are looking up! Easy on the power consumption, the girls seem to love it. Packaging was first rate, shipping to Canada was very fast. I highly recommend this seller as well as the product. One year later: I did away with my home-built 7x10 enclosure and set these up in an 8x8 tent. Now 4 of them will not cover the whole footprint, but I want space for filter, fans etc. I would suggest 6 of these for a space that size instead. Results have been very good indeed, with lush foliage and tight internodal spacing. I harvested some very large flowers, but of course proper nutrition and ventilation are the other pieces of the puzzle. Have tried a side-by-side comparison with more expensive lights, 10w LED as well as 1000W COB (200W chips), and if anything, these are superior. I will be purchasing more for separate veg tent ((keep at least 3 feet over cuttings or may burn). Hydro bill barely registers a difference running all of them, so, easy on the wallet (not sure of actual consumption per light). I have no regrets about this purchase and will be back. Customer service is first-rate as well. AAA+++
