Yes, absolutely! I work around jet engines and it works great!

Q: I feel like this has the potential to be a fake Chinese copy. Anyone get the sense of that?

They are supplied by the manufacturer Howard Leight store. I have ordered 2 over the last few years off of this amazon listing and they 100% appear to be OEM. They are no different than a 3rd pair I ordered from a reputable distributor. They will last a long time if you do not clamp them closed while they still have moisture. Off set the muffs ear cushions so they can dry and you will not corrode the electronics. Once dry feel free to clamp them in the normal small ball and store them. I wait 12 hours before doing that.
