A Poem for Every Winter Day

I do not usually read poetry but this collection gave me great pleasure and enjoyment. It was perfect for binging and I read it in one session. I loved how there were two poems per day, one for day and one for night. I would recommend this to anyone.

I gave this to several people for Christmas and they all loved the idea of having a complete surprise every day. The contents range from classic weepies and stories of the fight for racial equality to love poetry and children's rhymes.Each day has an introduction and I did find some of those a little irritating, but overall this book is a joy.

Beautiful poetry edited by Allie Esiri. It will be a perfect gift for Christmas and winter birthdays. It’s delivered as scheduled in a good condition.

I am really enjoying it! It has some of my most favorite and unforgettable poems from my childhood.
