Now you can burn butane or propane at your leisure.

when you start this does it have a huge flame flair-up like a Colman gasoline/mixed fuel stove? How high does the startup flame shoot?

Brother.... Light a match or lighter, hold it near your burner. Then, with your other hand slowly and gently turn the stove knob on. You should get a nice gentle *voosh* sound as your stove lights. No huge flames. No flare up...

Has anyone tried using two of these side-by-side to heat a two burner griddle?

Coleman makes a bigger one burner that folds out to 8 inches making it big enough for bigger pans and it uses the cheaper propane fuel in the green canister
