Tiffen 49GG1 49mm Glimmer Glass 1 Filter

I love the Glimmer glass filters, this is a good strength to soften highlights without it being too much. I use this for pretty much all my commercial video shoots.

This filter is very good quality! My son speaks highly of its photographic properties. Well recommended.

Undecided wether to get a glimmerglass 1 52mm or promist. After realising the I still wanted a bit of contrast in my images but still with perfect blooming highlights, the glimmerglass proved to be the best fit.

So many brands in the market now but with Tiffen you just get that mark of quality. Perfect fit and a lovely filter.

Absolute top draw for the money. It gives you an authentic, in camera (reduces post), cinematic look without compromise. Of course, Pro Mist filters can be great but all too often they create a 1970's soap opera dream sequence look. Those in the know use these over the more popular Black Pro Mist filters.Final note: when my Amazon parcel arrived it contained Cold Sore Cream - NOT the filter I'd ordered. I've had this happen with 2 x camera lenses and a laptop over the past few years (boxes filled with cat food). Amazon always make good but this needs to be sorted.

Después de investigar diferentes tipos de filtros éste es mi preferido. Tiene una manera de suavizar que me gusta más que otras marcas. De hecho mi cámara se fue al suelo y se rompió el filtro (un buen golpe) y intenté comprar uno similar de otra marca, tipo cine, también compré uno para el iPhone y nada. No sé qué hacen los de Tiffen pero se ve mejor sin quitar detalle. Los otros lo difuminan todo y parece desenfocado.Es un poco caro y yo esperaría a que esté en oferta.

Útil para disminuir la nitidez digital de los lentes Sony y lograr un aspecto luminoso (globos) y terso de la piel. Me gusta más que el black mist. Muy recomendable.

I absolutely love using this filter on my Fuji X100VI! When paired with Reggie's Portra film, it transforms even the simplest shots into something truly wistful and beautiful. What I really appreciate is that, as a filter, it provides not only dust and lens protection but also that lovely, subtle halo effect around light sources, which is a bit more refined than what you get with the Black Mist filters. Personally, I prefer this filter to the Black Mist - it just has that special touch.Now, I won’t lie, Tiffen filters come with a price tag! But let me tell you, the value is undeniable. You’re getting an original design that boasts an all-metal build. Sure, there may be cheaper alternatives out there, but nothing quite compares to the quality of this filter!
