Good quality
So I do really like this magnet holster, a bit on the small side. But I kinda like that if you have someone in the car with you they are less likely to see it under the dash. I'm a madman and tryed to see what the max limit was. Two of them will hold a full frame 1911 under a desk but one bump on the road an I falls of. Ofcorse I'm not using the magnets for something that large. 380 or 9mm ruger compact worked with one just fine. Two things one if your like myslef and wanted to fiddle with them good luck putting them back in the package with out playing a fun game of get back in there or so help me and 9 of them will hold an AKM on the wall.......yea I know. Over all nicely made not cheaply put together or crap molding. Nice stocking stuffer just make sure nothing electronic is in the stocking with them. Oh jacob if you read this I was gonna take a few photos but I wrapped them up for my wife's gift before I remember the pics.

Worth it!
This is a fruckin amazing product. Well worth the money. The adhesive will absolutely rip off any paint or cheap wood laminate if I ever decide to take them off. The magnet is strong as well. Strong enough for most guns on the market. Anything heavier than 20lbs needs about 4-6 of these magnets. I originally purchased just one order but now I realize I’m going to need A LOT more. Buy these! Thank you Jacob Dines! -A1C Grafft

Not for what I intended
The magnet is great and the idea was great for bedside accessibility. My only issue is the adhesive for just press on won’t hold. You have to screw it in. Hope this helps someone

Great buy, for a budget solution
I bought three of these. They come two to a pack, so I have 6 total. They do the trick for the pistols. If you are looking for an inexpensive magnet for your mags, this is a definite winner!I gave this four stars because of its issues. But I set my expectations accordingly when I bought this. It is a less expensive solution, so you should naturally anticipate a budget product. If I'd expected a high quality “$30 magnet” in a “2 for $25 magnet” price, then I'd have been disappointed. But I'd also have been unreasonable! That being said: The magnets themselves are plenty strong, and the construction seems solid. My only issues:1) The double stick tape is crap. BUT, even with high strength double stick foam tape, when mounted upside down with a 29 oz pistol spread across two magnets, it STILL came loose. It's not so much a problem with these magnets, it's an issue with the adhesive strength and the quality/cleanliness of the surface to which you are sticking. The smallest surface imperfections or dust/oil, and the adhesive's bond of ANY foam tape is severely compromised. Just saying...2) "Protective Coating" my ###! I pulled one of the magnets straight out of the package and stuck it to my pistol slide. It scratched the finish when I pulled it off, and that was with me being cautious. So, I recommend avoiding even that urge. I would not even touch one of these to any gun of mine till I'd covered the end with a piece of cloth or maybe duct tape. Heck, even a little masking tape. Anything to soften it a little. The mods I described below took me about 5 minutes and needed only materials I already had lying around the house. If it came from the manufacturer with these mods, I'd have given it 5 stars. Even with the tape issues, since tape only goes so far anyway. More details on this below.Pic of the modified magnet and the foam tape I used are attached.Couple of notes/tips from my trial & error:1) Don't even bother with the stock 3M tape. Believe the other reviews. If you are like me and keep plenty of the heavy duty stuff on hand, then that's no big deal. Just scrape the old stuff off as soon as you get it. It's useless if you expect this to hold more than a paper clip.2) Even after upgrading the tape, the tape's adhesive bond is still much weaker than the magnetic bond. If you MUST use the tape, clean, de-grease, and dry the surface THOROUGHLY. Make sure to wipe the mounting surface down with rubbing alcohol last & wait for that to dry completely. Now, if you are sticking to any porous or irregular surfaces, like for instance a vehicle console with textured ABS plastic or the inside edge of a wooden headboard/frame where finish isn't as smooth & polished, then do yourself a favor and go straight to the included screws. All the adhesive is good for then is to hold the thing in place while you add the screws!3) There is no appreciable "soft coating" on these things. But, again, for the price paid, I was happy to cut up an old mismatched sock into little disks and glue them onto the front of the magnet. Do this, or your gun (or whatever) WILL be scratched. I just found a mis-matched dress sock and cut out circles in the right size, and then glued them. But duct tape would have been way quicker and probably just as effective, if not more so.4) If you want to support a pistol with a polymer lower, such as a Glock (and 75% of everything else on the market today) then you are going to have to either use a vertical mount, or get creative. One magnet will hold the weight, but if you want it flat under a desk, you'll need to find some way to support the lower grip. If you have steel in the handgrip, an extended magazine, etc, you can mount horizontally with no problem, but even then, expect to use two of these to pull it off (see attached pic).5) I still have serious doubts about this working in a car. The magnets do hold tight, but it seems to me the pistol would slip or fall off every time you hit a bump. I'm still going to have to try this one out. I'll be amazed if it actually holds it solid in anything that any of us common folk would drive. I drive a lifted Jeep Wrangler with big knobby tires and fairly stiff suspension. So, if it works for me it should work for just about anyone! Now, that being said, I have this installed in two applications at the moment. Both have pics attached. The under-desk mount is holding about 29 oz and the shotgun is about 8.5 lbs. Both are solid now, using TWO of these magnets each. In both cases, I tried to figure out a way to use just one magnet. The magnets were plenty strong, but neither were very stable if knocked or bumped. I'd just expect to use 2 for anything bigger than a small pocket pistol. For the shotgun mount, I used the included screws from the get-go. The pistol came unstuck on my first try, even with the upgraded tape (notice the tape residue next to the magnet in the attached picture). But I just added some super glue (like Gorilla) to the tape and stuck it back. No issues since. If it fails again, I'll step up to the screws. Just not sure how well they'll bite into the cheap particle board in the desk panels.Footnote: I did attempt mounting inside of a wooden bed frame and tested with a Walther PPS .40 (36 oz), Sig Sauer P238 (15.2 oz), & a Sig Sauer P938 (18.4 oz) A single magnet was strong enough for all three when mounted in the vertical configuration inside the bed frame. The issue with this mount application was the mounting surface. The interior side of the wooden frame is much more rough and unfinished. The tape held at first, but all three guns had fallen by the next morning. I'm anticipated this and will remount with screws as soon as I can motivate myself to pull the mattress & box spring off to access it better. At that point, it should be perfect!

Great Product!!
Ordered these with low expectations because of the price. Wow was I surprised; strong magnet with easy mounting solutions (hardware or adhesive) . Proves you don’t have to spend a ton of money for quality product. Also received a hand written not by the owner Jacob; he’s a small business owner & Military veteran. He thanked me for the purchase and only asked for honest review. Definitely will support his business in the future of my purchasing.

Garbage
It takes extreme annoyance for me to write a bad review. This products sucks. The mounting screws supplied were odd lengths, size 4 or smaller, and I twisted the heads off of 2 of 4 of them during install, which means there are two snapped screw shafts sticking out from where I was installing the magnets, permanently, unless I want to get a disc grinder out; the holes in the magnet bodies were so small in diameter that finding replacement screws at Lowe's was not easy -- something smaller than a size 4, and forget finding any with heads that will countersink into the magnet bodies correctly. The paint, apparently, of the white background and black pistol covering the magnet, chipped off during testing during install -- unbelievable. And worst of all, this product marks up the slide of your gun; mine is a Glock, and the product scratched the surfaces of the slide wherever it came in contact with them. I would absolutely NOT recommend this product; I absolutely would be seeking a return and refund, IF I could only get the gd things off my table: the only screws I could find that would fit the holes were brass wood screws, which stripped out during install. AWFUL, AWFUL, DESIGN INSTALL.
