Q: Can you apply it dry or does it need to be mixed with sugar and water?

It needs to be mixed with the sugar and water. I would recommend using a spray bottle to apply it

Q: How often do you spray this?

We did it the one time the day before we released our lady bugs. The lady bugs all left and didn't stay in the garden as we hoped. We didn't see any good bugs being attracted to the garden after that. We don't know if this was beneficial.

Q: If I have mixed up too much, how long will it last before I have to get rid of it?

I’m hoping that the manufacturer answers this question. I put every bit of it out rather than trying to make it last for the long run probably not the smartest thing I’ve ever done
