Works for even small barcodes
I purchased a different scanner for keeping track of our inventory. Some of the items had small bar-codes which the other scanner could not read. This unit reads those codes. I also picked this because of the Bluetooth function. Haven't tried it yet on QR codes.

Reads 1D and 2D codes. Connects BlueTooth, dongle or wired.
Device was ready to go out of the box. Easy to configure to the way I wanted it to work. Powers off automatically. Long battery charge.

Scan success rate - 0 - 5%
This device will not scan barcodes that are close together. Serial number, part number, mac address codes can be all within 2-4 inches. This unit had trouble scanning and after 15-20 tries, I would give up. If it did scan, it would always be the top code, never the middle or bottom code. Inatek told me I would have to cover the codes I didn't want to scan. I tried that, the success rate was still 1-4%. I tried different settings for the scan beam, but it was always a wide (1 in) beam. I'm returning the unit for a refund.
