For work I am constantly on zoom calls and for fun I play a bunch of video games so I needed a mic arm.I originally was planning to buy this because I kept my mic on its stand to the side of my desk to not interfere with me typing on the keyboard and continue to talk simultaneously. However, my boss had trouble hearing me so I opted for a stand that would sit the mic right in front of me and not get in the way as I type. I also like that it's just one more thing off my desk.As for the stand itself it hold my Blue Yeti perfectly allowing me to easily move it up and out of the way or prepare for the call. No slouching so far and it holds sturdy. And that is saying something with the Blue Yeti being so heavy all by itself. I googled best brands and saw that this was one of them and for the price of less than $15 I said it wouldn't hurt me to buy it and so far it's living up to the name.I've only had it for a week, but I have been using it constantly. If you are thinking about ordering one, I say go for it.

I was hesitant on picking the right boom mount, it looked like a hit nd miss, either overly springy, or they collapse, or are hard to move. This one went together easily, mounted easily and works perfectly for the Blue yeti. Only issue I have had is that the included pop filter screws onto the flexible mount, and if positioned so the rod is horizontal, it becomes loose with a slight turn.

The media could not be loaded.  Great budget boom arm. Just recently got this with my new Fifine mic. Although it feels light, it still has great support. All the extras you get with this boom arm definitely makes it a great option. Highly suggest!

Despite what’s shown in the product picture, this item does not come with the metal or foam pop filters. The rest of the product is fine, just wish it came with everything listed in the description.

For absolute beginners, this is the way to go, unless you're using a very heavy microphone and mount. I use an AKG P120 microphone mounted on a very basic stabilized mount and this arm holds the weight very well. My only concern is the clamp. It's plastic! Although very hard and sturdy but you know, there are times when metal is the way to go. POP filter doesn't make much of a difference and I can easily filter out those using digital methods.

I use this with a Blue Yeti X and it works great. - The springs are too strong that I find I have to put something in the lower arm to keep the arm extended. - MUCH better than I expected and I would much rather have tight springs than loose. - Not a single complaint.

Started a return when I first purchased, but never followed through. This thing could hold a microphone in place if its life depended on it. Its cheap.. and the quality reflects that. Still, it should be able to preform the most basic of functions and it cannot.
