If i am a size 14 do i get xl size?

If you're you're thick 14 I would go with a different cop costume. My daughter was 8 when she wore hers and it was like a child's size. My sister a size women's 10 thought the xl was a medium. Also the material was very cheap I could've used navy leggings and a top and it would have been much better.
