I was looking for alternate card games that use a tarot deck. This book is not that. Instead, it is a book of different ways to use the cards for introspection and/or communication. Small groups (1-3 people); or larger groups. Could be a valuable tool to help communication and build closeness/intimacy in family and friend relationships. I will keep it - but not likely to use it as much as I was hoping.

I had strong feeling that Tarot cards have a great potential and practicality. It can be used not only for serious reading to resolve problems, healing and unlock puzzles of life, but also for meaningful fun and entertainment. Some revies point that this book is not good because there is nothing in it about play card games with Tarot deck. I think its wrong to say such thing, because why don't play card games with regular cards. Of curse someone can adopt Tarot cards for regular card games but Tarot is way beyond that simplistic approach. Highly recommend this book who wants to have different level of entertainment.

I read about this book first in Christiana Gaudet's book, and thought it would be just the thing for the Beginner's Tarot class I will be teaching this spring. I was right! It has all sorts of wonderful ways to bring people together and learn the Tarot. Before they even realize it they are reading the cards. This book just made my job easier and more fulfilling, and should I teach this class again, I am sure the book will continue to fulfill that function. A really original way to use the Tarot; I highly recommend it.

I am a professional reader and tarot instructor and I use these games to help my students in a very fun way to learn the cards and to hone their skills. If you're looking for some fun with tarot, this is DEFINITELY YOUR BOOK! I also enjoyed how the author told the backstory about each game and the images are descriptive as well.

This book is a wonderful tool to expend your relationship to your tarot cards. It teaches how to relate respectfully to the oracle and many different kinds of lay out. Inspirational!

As someone who loves games and finds tarot cards interesting on multiple levels, this is a great book to have in my personal collection. All the games are not created equal, but there's enough of a variety here anyone should find several interesting options to play around with.

Great arrived quicker than expected. Great book full of ideas and games to help you and groups of friends explore the Tarot. Highly recommend purchasing this book.
