I love the product but the packaging is very bad. The bag does not close on its own after opening. Shame, it would have revceived 5 stars otherwise.

Yes, it’s expensive. Most clean food is these days. BUT if you’re doing a no-sugar, anti-inflammatory diet, or diabetic, or just cutting down on sugar, it’s a natural sweetener that does not affect blood sugar negatively and it really helped me through a period in which I had to cut out all sugars in my diet (I was working with a naturopath to heal digestive issues in my gut). It’s SLIGHTLY less sweet in ratio than regular sugar, but it’s pretty close to 1:1. Very worth it for me. I like the golden one because it has more of a maple-y/brown sugar taste.
