Dupli-Color Carbon Fiber Kit, CFK100

I bought a new hood center vent for my BMW. I wanted it in carbon fiber to match other parts but it was unreasonably expensive. So I bought this kit hoping it'd look "decent". I followed the instructions and holly cow, it came out beautiful and exceeded my expectations 10 fold. It looks very much like carbon fiber but I wasn't expecting it to be identical. The main point is, it looks soooo good I am ecstatic. When I showed it to the body shop installing the spoilers and side skirts they were beyond impressed! They told me I should leave the mortgage business and paint parts for a living! I bought an automotive clear coat which really helped the final finish and I recommend this also. It not only made it look more like carbon fiber but contains UV block to prolong it's use.

Product is simply amazing. Very easy installation and came out great. Here is my finished product on my phone case, I made the process quicker with a heat gun even even though it’s handle to an hour, and I got some marks on it, but I highly recommend this product for a great Caron fiber look without emptying your pockets. My phone case was clear before I used this product.

I bought this set and got ready to use it. I followed the instructions. After 3 short bursts with the first can, it stopped spraying. I checked to see if it was clogged, it wasn't. It just stopped spraying. No return policy, so im just out the money. Buy this from a store where you can return it. Don't buy this

Look good … the spray part of this kit is easy to use … but then it come to use the pattern mat if you’re using it on something with lots of shape is not the easiest thing to use … I’m sure if is done on a flat surface is not hard but I still think is good product specially for the price … I do recommend to follow the instructions and take your time and clear coat will enhance the look as you can see in the pictures … I placed it next to some real carbon fiber pieces I have and it look pretty close I used duplicolor 1k clear extreme gloss finish and I have to say is easy to apply and is almost as good as 2k clear coat and 1/3 of the price and when applied right you get a glass finish
