Q: Is this too large for a chicken coop?

No but then again it depends on what you think is to large.These are 11.5" w x 10"L x 5" d

Q: Does the bowl/waterer have any means of draining it?

Not that I am aware. It's in my garage and we have a drain in the floor so I turn off the water then swoosh the water out periodically and wipe it out with a cloth.

Q: How do you attach this to a concrete wall. I'm a total newbie fixit person.

I would attach a piece of pressure treated or marine lumber to the concrete wall using masonry screws. Attach the waterer to the wood. This makes it easier to remove when needed.

Q: Is the water inlet reversable...can it be moved to the right side?

Yes can be switched to the right side
