This seems to be a good carbon and i have no doubts about its quality and effectiveness. The only thing to really keep in mind and may prohibit me from purchasing in the future (depending on on-going quality) is that this carbon is a very fine particle. Even with being so fine, it still does not produce much dust when rinsing, but even in a "very fine" mesh media bag, some of the pieces are so small that it still escapes the bag. This doesn't seem to be causing any issues, just more of a pet peeve. The included bag (as others have mentioned) is very narrow and may not be suitable for larger canister filters, however i did not buy this product for the bag so that does not affect my rating.
