Worked Perfectly!
This product worked perfectly to get rid of one of my rescues ear mites. Awesome product, thank you!

Pour it into a tiny spray bottle for easier application
I've found dumping this in a tiny spray bottle works so much better than using it as drops! With it as a spray, it coats the ear..especially if you have a cat like mine who fights everything (ear drops, flea and tick prevention..everything).

Unworthy

FOR horrible ear mite situation..USE THIS!
This product is amazing! I rescue wounded cats & never dealt with ear mites before so I didn't realize all the raw areas on their heads was caused by ear mites! (And they suffered so long for my lack of knowledge) I tried 3 different ear mites products & the other 2 made my cats scream in pain & run & were afraid of me like I caused them extra pain on purpose! I felt horrible! So I figured I'd try a different brand & I'm SO thankful I did! They don't even know I'm using this on them! First I started using a paper towel (a good brand that doesn't break up & get caught in their ears) I put dish soap on it & wash around their head & little by little try to start washing inside their ears - which can take a few days because the mites are so bad. But gradually I start getting inside & do as much as they'll allow me (I do it while their eating something they really like because it distracts them & I can work from behind them where it's easier. I put the meds on all the raw spots that are around their ears then I squeeze some in each ear. It's okay for them to shake their heads..& run lol But I repeat this everyday until they're healed. On this newest cat I've been working on it for almost 3 wks because the mites are SO bad! I still get mites & dirt out of his ears but nothing like when I first started! It's like the more I clean the more mites are drawing up from the canal! But at least with this product they know I'm not hurting them & have even learned to like me grooming & washing them! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this product! You definitely won't be disappointed in trying it!!

Very effective, a bit strong though..
I have been using this product on my cat's ears for a couple of years and it's always been great. I've read some people say it is a bit irritative, I think it is just a consequence of the very own infection. My cat is very big and furry, he's a norweggian forest and he suffers of mites once or twice a year. Everytime this happens I use the Four Paws product and it is true he suffers a little, I think it is strong but after 2 or 3 days of application the situation not only improves a lot, but within 2 weeks of use the irritation and infection dissapears at all!My cat hasn't got sick over this, on the contrary he gets and feels better. He resents me for a while :( but then he strokes around me somehow I feel he thanks me for curing him from the horrible mites! :)I've always thought that if you have an injury and you apply something on it it has to itch or something so you feel it is actually killing the bacteria, otherwise I would feel it is just a placebo.. so I think the product is strong but very effective. Nevertheless I suggest if your kitty is too sensitive you better try one drop to see how it reacts. Mine is a bit of a "winnier" (very spoiled and dramatic) but i think it does good on him.

Jury is still deliberating...
I have used this product for about a week on my cat. I started with 4 drops in one teaspoon of olive oil. I used a cotton swab to wipe it on the inside of his outer ear and dab it gently closer to his inner ear. 2x, a day apart, along with massaging the base of each ear. Then 5 drops in 1-tsp olive oil for 2 days in a row with massage and cotton swab. He didn't seem to shake his head so much. Then again still 5 drops in 1-tsp olive oil but used an eyedropper for 2 days to put more in each ear, with massage and cotton swab. He shook his head quite a bit like he had water in his ears but less scratching. So I skipped a day. Now he's scratching again. Granted I can't guarantee how many actual drops of this product went into each ear because it's diluted with olive oil. I'm not willing to use 10 drops of diluted product to hope 5 drops makes it into each ear. Also, I'm not willing to use this product without dilution.
