What is the real age until girls play with calico critters?

My granddaughters are 10 and 8. Just let me know they are no longer interested in playing with Calico Critters any longer. They played with them from the time they were 4 and 2, so had many years of fun with them. They are now into games, arts and crafts, Legos, kinetic sand, and marble runs!

Do the kid critters stand up?

I believe they do. They usually all have moveable legs at the hips.

Will the kid critters fit on these bikes or only the baby critters?

It's difficult to tell - but from looking at it in the box - it does seem that the bike and car are for the little ones - I think the bigger critters could stand - but I don't see how they could sit.... I could be wrong though...
