Great budget lens
Ultimately I did want to buy the Canon 24-105mm lens but my budget just couldn't allow for that at this time. So I went for this one because I have a native Micro 4/3 camera but also an adaptor to fit the canon one. Other than this lens being a bit noisy (due to the lowest aperture number being 4) it's a great sharp little beast that is epic for the price point. I've been able to get nice close up shots from quite far away which is perfect for the kind of environment I often find myself shooting videos in. One bad thing about the lens though is the material it's made out out. It's understandable that it's plastic, they have to bring the price down somehow! But it feels quite flimsy and sometimes I'm scared I'll snap the thing in half without really trying to. But otherwise it's a really great budget lens!

No second thoughts
Worthy, one of the best purchase made in Amazon in terms of price to product.

Superb value for money
For the price, this Len is a 5 star. It zooms with enough light for daytime shooting. Putting price aside, the plastic is not of the highest grade - bought and returned a silver one as the poor plastic quality is pretty obvious e.g. plastic moulding weld lines and cheap looking silver colour. The black one, however, somehow hides some of these issues and looks decent enough. The zoom ring is a bit stiff but certainly functioning. Picture quality is good - yet to see any serious issue on my raws. Again, this rating is highly related to the currently superb Amazon price - for a hundred bucks there is very little to complain about.
