Melchiorri Tartufata Black Truffle Sauce, 9.88 Ounce

My favorite mushroom truffle sauce! Highly recommend!

This tartufata tastes great and every time I've ordered it, it has always been very well wrapped in bubble wrap and so far has always arrived intact. Worth every penny.

I was recently introduced to my new Favorite adult food "Salsa Tartufata" (translates to truffle sauce) by Giuliano Tartufi brought back from Europe. I couldn't find it anywhere (gift box on amazon does NOT include the truffle sauce). I checked reviews and hoped for the best. FAIL, EPIC Fail. This is a jar of diced marinated mushrooms with a whisper of truffle *maybe*IF you are looking for Salsa Tartufata then keep shopping, this is NOT IT. I will continue searching for the one by Giuliano Tartufi

This is my favorite food discovery of my adult life, and the customer service from this seller is excellent!My recipe for this product always gets raves:3 oz. truffle saucetruffle oil1 lb. pasta3 oz. butter6-7 oz. creamsalt, pepper½ -1 cup grated parmesanPreparation:Melt butter over low heat. Add cream, boil shortly, season with salt and pepper, add parmesan to make a creamy sauce. If cream thickens too much, add some water. Cook pasta al dente, strain and mix well with cream sauce. Add tartufata to hot pasta and cream sauce, mix well. Add truffle oil to taste, optional. Mix well and serve with or without additional parmesan.

Absolutely delicious, prepare your pasta and mix this in with salt pepper and lots of olive oil, served with a dusting of freshly grated Reggiano
