WOODRIVER Commonwealth Basket Comcraft Chair Caning Kit-Fine 2.5mm Cane

Bought this to do up a chair I found in a junk shop, just finished. It seems to have taken forever.This is a good kit it has all that you need - just.The chair I have is small and I only just had enough cane to finish the job.The only other problem I had was the holes getting blocked up with the cane the further on you progress.As I got to the edging stage using the 4mm cane some of the holes were so full I had to use the awl to make enough room to get the 2.5mm through that holds it in place. That can cause the cane in the holes to split because it is dry and then when it splits it breaks. But I am rather pleased with the end result.

Came as describe. Good quality cane. Recommend highly.

It only comes with 4 pegs but I didn’t need any more than the 4. Kit was great!
