Legrand - Wiremold Outlet Box to Use As Wiremold Raceway, White Outlet Electric Box with Both the Outlet and Wiremold Box, NMW2-D

Purchased to add an outlet in my mom's house and was perfect. Ease of installation: The installation process was easy, just take in hand a drill, the bit to make the holes in the wall and make sure you make another hole for the wires. Durability: I thinks this product will be durable, because the material shows good quality. Cable hiding: For my project DIY, just I connect the wire behind the wall and only I see the outlet, no wires. Functionality: Very functional if you want to add some outlets at home, wherever you want it. Quality: Looks very well built. Durable material definitely.

Nice outlet , works well

I wanted over cabinet lights, we already had electrical pulled but I preferred plug in lights instead of hard wired. This gave the opportunity to add an electrical outlet without having to cut into sheet rock! I’ve never done this before but it only took me 30 minutes to complete. I’m happy with how it turned out! The electric wires are inside the box, the ends where the wire goes into box was easy to grab with needle nose pliers and snip out, looks great and easy to install!

Using these in Europe where I have dual power (EU 230v and US 120v) and I needed boxes that sit above the common brick and mortar construction here, these boxes fit the bill. Quality and construction are A-OK. Basically, secure the plate onto the surface and once you are ready with your outlet/wiring, snap them into the backing anc you are finished. This design makes running outlets fairly quick and easy. The outlets have protection slides over the terminals to protect youngsters from poking and prodding so thats a nice feature as well. Overall, nice quality at a reasonable price.

I installed an electric 'smart bidet' but having power outlets close enough for the cord to reach is a feature only available in some homes and most of those only those recently built. Mine was no exception and for a time, I relied *temporarily* on a UL-rated extension + GFI adapter. I could've gone full-on with a traditional outlet installation, but the way my bathroom is designed, I felt it'd be easier, faster, and not unattractive to go with surface mount raceways and outlet, provided I could make everything unobtrusive and up-to-code. Anyway with this, I can run a line from the vanity over toward the toilet, along the baseboard, and have it all look professional. Mind you, this low-profile outlet box won't be able to accommodate especially thick outlets (the ones it comes with is fine though), so in a situation where you want GFI, you might need to adjust. Otherwise though, this is a great solution for my personal needs and will help hide the cables.

The box is sturdy and had no problems with the outlet. The one thing to keep in mind is are you replacing an outlet that is already there or are you putting in a whole new one. The reason I say this is because I was putting in a new outlet near the kitchen sink. I had to replace the outlet with a GFCI since it would be near moisture. Because the GCFI was a bit larger, there wasn't enough room in the box for the outlet and the wires. I ended up having to cut into the wall to make enough space. When I decided to put in another outlet in the kitchen, I went with the deeper box and it was perfect for the GFCI outlet and wires without having to cut into the wall.

The Wiremold Plastic Nonmetallic Raceway is a great solution for extending power without messy cords. The installation was easy, and it blends well with the wall for a clean look. The outlet box is sturdy and works perfectly. Great for home offices or entertainment setups!

I installed 3 or 4 of them inside my motorhome when I did some electrical update. They are easy to work with and take less space than a regular home electrical box. Great product. Sturdy enough for a piece of plastic.
