How do you know if you have a flea infestation in your home?

Hi. One other question. Where do you spray the stuff? Like everywhere..floors, furniture, carpet etc? Or just carpets? Thank you

My indoor only cats got fleas from a neighbor who had a huge infestation and didn’t tell me. I decided to be proactive and bought the killer of all killer sprays- Precor. I sprayed it along the baseboards of the rooms where my cats spend the most time. But I did all the usual “tests” to see how extensive my flea issue was (I.e. soap flea traps, white socks) and did not catch any so I felt my problem was “light” as I only found fleas (1-3) on my cats. But I did vacuum daily and mop every 2 days. You can use it on furniture but I would suggest you only use around hidden areas (underneath cushions or seat) as fleas do not live on the exposed areas. But vacuum those as well. Vacuum, vacuum, vacuum is the key as well as using a preventative in your pets!

Do you use a mask to prevent inhaling chemicals?

You should use a mask when applying this. Precore 2000 is what our professional pest control company used for a flea infestation in carpet. He wore a mask and goggles. He told me no one shoudl be in the house for 4 hours after applying this and that it should then be vaccuumed up.

I am not sure if I have fleas but something is biting in the evening. does this kill even other insects may be fruits flies ?
