Yes, the box was packaged & wrapped. The fragrance was same as if I purchased from a department store and I saved money!

Is this the actual perfume or just the body spray?

Eau de Parfum is not super strength perfume (and high price) but is a lighter strength spray. I buy it because it is cheaper than the perfume but smells just as good.

Does it smell strong?

"Strong" is subject to individual taste and smell and depends upon how much is sprayed on. I really like the smell because I prefer "soft" perfume. I receive a lot of compliments on the smell and questions about the brand. I have repurchased this item multiple times.
